Reception

Mrs Myers, Mrs Morrison, Miss Spizer, Mrs Wright and all of the Reception team welcome you to our Reception page.

We hope that you enjoy looking through the images so that you can share our learning.

The children in Reception learn by having "hands on", first hand experiences.

We endeavour to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, cared for and safe.

Early years is the first stepping stone on a long pathway of future learning, so its very important that we provide a curriculum which excites children to learn, that we motivate children to want to discover and that we ignite curiosity.

We very much look forward to working in partnership with you.

Our Nativity Performance

During the last week of term our children performed their Nativity to the rest of the school, parents and grandparents.

WOW !

We are so pleased with the progress that the Reception children have already made at school.

We get as excited as you do watching the children grow and learn new things.

When we see the children doing something that we are really proud of we make an observation to go in their learning journey.

We are aware that the children also do a lot of learning at home, and we would love to hear from you when you see them doing something that makes you proud.

You will find some WOW cards on the file attached.  These WOW cards are a chance for you to share with us things that your child achieves at home.  If you see them doing something that makes you think WOW then write it down and bring it in to share with us.

We look forward to reading them!
