Across the Trust , a child with Special Educational Needs  will have a Termly Support Plan (TSP). This will highlight their expected outcomes and support that needs to be put in place to help your child to achieve their outcomes each term. The Termly Support Plan is created collaboratively with the child, you and any other adults involved in their learning. Teachers will make sure the learning matches your child’s needs.  

How is support allocated to Children and Young People?

Support is informed by teacher assessments, assessments completed by the Inclusion Team and advice from outside agencies.  For all children on the SEN register the support is linked to the desirable outcomes and recorded on the TSP.  All support is focused on achieving outcomes for children.  We use the following questions to help us focus support:

What do we want the child to achieve with the next term / year?

What support will enable the child to achieve this?

What services / resources could support this in happening?

Stages of SEN and Possible Resulting Actions

Every child on the SEN register has a TSP. 

If your child is working within SEN Support the TSP is written with you and the class teacher.

If your child is working within SEN Support Plus or has a statement or EHC plan the TSP will be written at a meeting involving you, the class teacher and a member of the Inclusion Team.Any other agencies working with your child will be invited to contribute.
