City of Culture Week 2017

The whole school were very lucky to enjoy a full week celebrating Hull City of Culture.  We made commemorative plates as a keepsake.  Class 2's were designed on fish with regards to the fishing industry.  Jess Parkin and Ray Hawker visited the school to talk to us about the fishing trawlers and the work of the trawlermen.  The whole school enjoyed a craft day with all the teachers.  Class 2 made moths, mosaic fishes, aeroplanes and street signs.  On our final day we enjoyed a visit from Swift Caravans who came to talk to us and judged our caravan competition.  The grand finale being fish and chips in the playground!!!!
